President's Message

HomePresident’s Message
I wish for you and your family that the year 2019 is filled with prosperity, joy, good luck, contentment and that it take you to newer heights.

I am humbled by the confidence the TTS members have placed in me by entrusting me with the position of President of TTS for the years 2019 and 2021. I now wish to welcome our newly Executive committee members, Advisory Committee Members, Working Committee members and Youth Committee members for the years 2019 and 2021.

As parents, it is our responsibility to provide a platform to the future generations for them to maintain our proud heritage, culture and values. I firmly believe that TTS is a platform that allows us to build a strong Telugu community in the Greater Nashville Area.  The legacy of 2019 and 2021 is not just about meeting or exceeding certain key performance indicators. It is about setting up the organization in its ascension to the next level for our future generation and meeting the TTS mission and vision of serving the community.

The TTS executive committee and Working committee is working hard towards making all events and initiatives to celebrate our festivals like Sankrathi, Ugadhi, , Batukamma and Diwali. We will celebrate sports events, picnics, and charitable activities. Let us encourage the next generation kids to involve themselves more in Telugu cultural programs organized year-round and learn our culture and tradition.  Let us teach them the value of service and of helping someone less fortunate than them.

A special word of thanks to the sponsors and donors for their continuous support. I hope that we will be able to provide a meaningful access to the community to promote your products and services.

TTS is a Non-Profit organization, driven purely by volunteers (like you) who take a little time off their daily routine to give back to the community and I humbly salute you for your time.

Finally, I also wanted to take this opportunity to request you to consider taking the TTS membership. Your membership and support goes a long way in taking this organization to the next level and meeting TTS’s mission and vision.

Season Greetings!!!

Shyam Jalem
TTS President (2019-2021)

Welcome to the Tennessee Telugu Samithi Website. We are happy to have you visit us. If our hearts long for some Telugu Samskriti, it is ours to claim here and now, for it depends on the hearts of its people not on its land. If we come together and join hands to celebrate our heritage, then Telugunadu is not limited to Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and surrounding States.
